The Nithing Pole is a music review and opinion blog from the opinion of Aaron Pokoj. The general music focus is on heavy metal, and music related to metal musicians. Occasionally other types of music may be discussed.

Rating system:

I do not like giving subjective reviews quantifiable numbers. I do not feel that they accurately sum up what the album is about, and can skew a listener because of a number. Instead I try to write about what I think about the album, and let that portray if a release is good or not.
